Wines made by custom crush facility

A client would like to have wine made by a custom crush facility and then own the brand and sell the wine direct to customers (DTC) to cut out the middleman. This could be a farm winery that makes some wine itself and contract manufactures some wine (below the farm annual limits). As long as it manufactures at least 50 gallons of wine themselves, and all of their product is made from 100% NYS produce – whether they are making it from scratch or purchasing from a custom crush facility. They can sell via the internet as long as they have a brick and mortar location in New York. By using a self-distribution business model savings can be realized by eliminating the traditional 3 tier system.
