LEARN MORE ABOUT
NON-IMMIGRANT VISA INFORMATION
Visas (referred to as non-immigrant visas with the USCIS), confer a status on those who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents (green card holders) to come into the United states for a limited amount of time, depending on the purpose for which the visa was provided. These visas are granted for those persons who come into the United Stated with non-immigrant intent. In other words, they have no intention of staying in the United States once the purpose of their trip is fulfilled. The validity period for visas varies depending on the purpose, expanding from 90 days to up to 10 years. It is important to understand that the requirements and conditions for a visa can vary by type and even on a case-by-case basis.

The most common visas issued in the United States are those issued to students to pursue an education, to entrepreneurs and workers to conduct temporary business with a U.S. company, and to visitors who want to explore the country or visit family members.
